FAQ - Elephant Jungle Sanctuary in Phuket

Do you offer a pick-up/drop-off service?

Yes. We offer a free transfer service to/from many hotels within our Free Transfer Zone for your visit to the EJS. Depending on the location and type of your accommodation, additional transport fees may apply. This applies to your journey to the EJS Phuket.

Please note that our free transfer service is applicable only to programs which include transport options. Some programs, including our ‘Feed Me’ program, are ineligible for free or discounted transport to/from EJS Phuket.

How do I get from the airport to Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Phuket?

When planning your Phuket itinerary, please note that self-arranged transport is required to the meeting point at Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Phuket office. Drop-off – to Phuket International Airport costs 800 THB for private transfer arranged by EJS. (Please inform a day before your visit if you need airport drop-off and how much luggage you will have).

However, various transportation applications such Grab, Bolt, etc. are available at your own choice.

(Please note that the fare for a taxi or other mode of transport to the chosen meeting point is payable by the visitor, and Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Phuket will not pay for transport or reimburse costs incurred).

Do you offer transport to/from a port or pier?

We are unable to offer a pick-up service from Ao Po Grand Marina Pier, Rassada Pier, Sea Angel Pier, or any other pier, port, or jetty for your visit to the EJS.

A drop-off service can be arranged to a port or pier at a rate of ฿800/group of 1-8 people. Please note: Visitors requiring transport (drop off) to these locations must inform EJS Phuket staff a minimum of 24 hours before their scheduled visit time.

How far in advance do I need to book?

Bookings for your visit must be made at least 12 hours before the assigned pick-up time for your Half Day Visit, One Day Walk With Elephants and Feed and Shower experience. And at least 2 hours for the Feed Me experience. In order to avoid disappointment, we recommend booking as early as possible to secure your spot at the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Phuket.
